16 and said, “(A)By Myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly (B)multiply your [a]seed as the stars of the heavens and as (C)the sand, which is on the seashore; and (D)your [b]seed shall possess the gate of [c]their enemies. 18 And (E)in your [d]seed all the nations of the earth shall [e]be blessed, because you have (F)obeyed My voice.” 19 (G)So Abraham returned to his young men, and they got up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham lived in Beersheba.

20 Now it came about after these things, that Abraham was told, saying, “Behold, (H)Milcah [f]also has borne children to your brother Nahor: 21 Uz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel (the father of Aram), 22 Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel”— 23 and it was Bethuel who fathered (I)Rebekah. These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham’s brother. 24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, [g]also gave birth to Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.

19 Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba.(J) And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.

Nahor’s Sons

20 Some time later Abraham was told, “Milkah is also a mother; she has borne sons to your brother Nahor:(K) 21 Uz(L) the firstborn, Buz(M) his brother, Kemuel (the father of Aram), 22 Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph and Bethuel.(N) 23 Bethuel became the father of Rebekah.(O) Milkah bore these eight sons to Abraham’s brother Nahor.(P) 24 His concubine,(Q) whose name was Reumah, also had sons: Tebah, Gaham, Tahash and Maakah.
