27 So God created humans[a] in his image,
in the image of God he created them;[b]
male and female he created them.(A)
28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”(B) 29 God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.(C) 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the air and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.(D) 31 God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.(E)
2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all their multitude.(F) 2 On the sixth[c] day God finished the work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he had done.(G)

27 So God created(A) mankind(B) in his own image,(C)
in the image of God(D) he created them;
male and female(E) he created them.(F)
28 God blessed them and said to them,(G) “Be fruitful and increase in number;(H) fill the earth(I) and subdue it. Rule over(J) the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.(K)”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.(L) 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life(M) in it—I give every green plant for food.(N)” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made,(O) and it was very good.(P) And there was evening, and there was morning(Q)—the sixth day.
2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.(R)
