¹⁰ In the breeding season of the flock I lifted up my eyes and saw in a dream that the goats that mated with the flock were striped, spotted, and mottled.

13 “If a prophet or ^(A)a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,

^5 (A)At Gibeon ^(B)the Lord appeared to Solomon ^(C)in a dream by night, and God said, “Ask what I shall give you.”

⁶ And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him ^(A)in a vision; I speak with him ^(B)in a dream.

²⁴ But God came to Laban the Aramean ^(A)in a dream by night and said to him, “Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, ^(B)either good or bad.”

³⁹ the flocks bred in front of the sticks and so the flocks brought forth striped, speckled, and spotted.

¹² And he ^(A)dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder^[a] set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, ^(B)the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!

⁶ Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning ^(A)against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her.
