⁹ When Leah saw that she had stopped bearing, she took Zilpah her maid and ^(A)gave her to Jacob as wife.

⁴ Then she gave him Bilhah her maid ^(A)as wife, and Jacob went in to her.

¹⁷ And God listened to Leah, and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son.

³⁵ And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name ^(A)Judah.^[a] Then she stopped bearing.

³ Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram ^(A)had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.
