²⁷ And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for ^(A)I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”

¹⁰ and delivered him out of all his troubles, ^(A)and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

¹³ Then she said, ^(A)“Let me find favor in your sight, my lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken ^[a]kindly to your maidservant, ^(B)though I am not like one of your maidservants.”

²¹ And ^(A)I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed.

²¹ But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He ^(A)gave^[a] him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. ²² And the keeper of the prison ^(B)committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. ²³ The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under ^[b]Joseph’s authority, because ^(C)the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.

²⁴ And the Lord ^(A)appeared to him the same night and said, ^(B)“I am the God of your father Abraham; ^(C)do not fear, for ^(D)I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”

²⁵ So they said, “You have saved ^(A)our lives; let us find favor in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.”
