Isaac Blesses Jacob

27 Now it came to pass, when Isaac was ^(A)old and ^(B)his eyes were so dim that he could not see, that he called Esau his older son and said to him, “My son.”

And he answered him, “Here I am.”

¹⁰ Now ^(A)the eyes of Israel were dim with age, so that he could not see. Then Joseph brought them near him, and he ^(B)kissed them and embraced them.

² And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow ^(A)so dim that he could not see,

³ Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, ^(A)but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

²³ And the Lord said to her:

²⁴ So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. ²⁵ And the first came out red. He was ^(D)like a hairy garment all over; so they called his name ^[a]Esau.
