⁷ The Lord, the God of heaven, ^(A)who took me from my father's house and from the land of my kindred, and who spoke to me and swore to me, ^(B)‘To your offspring I will give this land,’ ^(C)he will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.

² I will send an ^(A)angel before you, ^(B)and I will drive out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

¹⁵ for all the land that you see I will give ^(A)to you and ^(B)to your offspring forever.

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits ^(A)sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to ^(B)inherit salvation?

¹³ Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you ^(A)swore by your own self, and said to them, ^(B)‘I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have promised I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”
