¹⁴ So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, “Up, get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.^(A)

²¹ “Separate yourselves from this congregation, so that I may consume them in a moment.”^(A)

⁴⁵ “Get away from this congregation, so that I may consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.^(A)

²⁶ He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Turn away from the tents of these wicked men and touch nothing of theirs, or you will be swept away for all their sins.”^(A)

⁴ Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,

¹⁰ So the couriers went from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, but they laughed them to scorn and mocked them.^(A)

³² When they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some scoffed, but others said, “We will hear you again about this.”

¹¹ But these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them.^(A)

²⁸ Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,^{(A) 29} but on the day that Lot left Sodom it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and destroyed all of them; ³⁰ it will be like that on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
