¹¹ And they ^(A)struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.

¹⁸ So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And ^(A)He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

¹¹ And now, indeed, ^(A)the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.”

And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

²⁸ The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and ^(A)confusion of heart. ²⁹ And you shall ^(B)grope at noonday, as a blind man gropes in darkness; you shall not prosper in your ways; you shall be only oppressed and plundered continually, and no one shall save you.
