¹⁹ and he blessed Abram,^(A) saying,

⁶ This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed^(A) him who had the promises.^{(B) 7} And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater.

²² But Abram said to the king of Sodom,^(A) “With raised hand^(B) I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High,^(C) Creator of heaven and earth,^(D)

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

³ Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,^(A) who has blessed us in the heavenly realms^(B) with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

The Father Revealed in the Son^(A)

²⁵ At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father,^(B) Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.^(C)

⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace,^(A) which he has freely given us in the One he loves.^(B)

¹⁷ She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God,^(A) who are telling you the way to be saved.”

²¹ At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.^(A) Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

¹⁶ And he took the children in his arms,^(A) placed his hands on them and blessed them.
