Galatians 2:17-21 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 “But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18 For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died [a]in vain.”
ΠΡΟΣ ΓΑΛΑΤΑΣ 2:17-21 1894 Scrivener New Testament (TR1894)
Galatians 2:17-21 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
17 And if, seeking to be declared righteous in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, [is] then Christ a ministrant of sin? let it not be!
18 for if the things I threw down, these again I build up, a transgressor I set myself forth;
19 for I through law, did die, that to God I may live;
20 with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ doth live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh -- in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me;
21 I do not make void the grace of God, for if righteousness [be] through law -- then Christ died in vain.
Galatians 2:17-21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be! 18 For if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through [a]the Law I died to [b]the Law, so that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and [c]the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through [d]the Law, then Christ died needlessly.”
