Galatians 5:4-6 International Children’s Bible (ICB)

If you try to be made right with God through the law, then your life with Christ is over—you have left God’s grace. But we hope to be made right with God through faith, and we wait for this hope anxiously with the Spirit’s help. When we are in Christ Jesus, it is not important if we are circumcised or not. The important thing is faith—the kind of faith that works through love.

Galatians 5:4-6 New International Version (NIV)

You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
