^28 (A)There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is ^[a]neither male nor female; for ^(B)you are all one in ^(C)Christ Jesus. ²⁹ And if ^(D)you ^[b]belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s ^[c]descendants, heirs according to ^(E)promise.

¹⁴ For He Himself is ^(A)our peace, ^(B)who made both groups into one and broke down the ^[a]barrier of the dividing wall, ^15 [b]by ^(C)abolishing ^[c]in His flesh the hostility, which is ^(D)the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might ^[d](E)make the two ^(F)one new person, in this way establishing ^(G)peace; ¹⁶ and that He might ^(H)reconcile them both in ^(I)one body to God through the cross, ^[e]by it having ^(J)put to death the hostility.
