Ezekiel 43:6-12

6 Then I heard Him speaking to me from the house, while a (A)man was standing beside me. 7 And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My (B)throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will (C)dwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by the [a](D)corpses of their kings [b]when they die, 8 by putting their threshold by My threshold, and their door post beside My door post, with only the wall between Me and them. And they have (E)defiled My holy name by their abominations which they have committed. So I have consumed them in My anger. 9 Now let them (F)remove their prostitution and the [c]corpses of their kings far from Me, and I will (G)dwell among them forever.
10 “As for you, son of man, (H)inform the house of Israel of the [d]temple, so that they will be (I)ashamed of their wrongdoings; and have them measure the [e](J)plan. 11 And if they are ashamed of everything that they have done, make known to them the plan of the house, its layout, its (K)exits, its entrances, all its plans, all its [f]statutes, and all its laws. And write it (L)in their sight, so that they may observe its entire plan and all its statutes and (M)execute them. 12 This is the [g]law of the house: its entire [h]area on the top of the (N)mountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the [i]law of the house.

6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me out of the temple.(A) 7 He said to me: “Mortal, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will reside among the people of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by sacrificing to their kings[a] at their death.[b](B) 8 When they placed their threshold by my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them, they were defiling my holy name by their abominations that they committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.(C) 9 Now let them put away their idolatry and sacrifices to their kings[c] far from me, and I will reside among them forever.(D)
10 “As for you, mortal, describe the temple to the house of Israel, and let them measure the pattern, and let them be ashamed of their iniquities.(E) 11 When they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the plan of the temple, its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, and its whole form—all its ordinances and its entire plan and all its laws; and write it down in their sight so that they may observe and follow the entire plan and all its ordinances.(F) 12 This is the law of the temple: the whole territory on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. This is the law of the temple.(G)
