15 Then he measured the length of (A)the building facing the yard that was at the back and (B)its galleries[a] on either side, a hundred cubits.

The inside of the nave and the vestibules of the court, 16 (C)the thresholds and (D)the narrow windows and the galleries all around the three of them, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, from the floor up to the windows (now the windows were covered), 17 to the space above the door, even to the inner room, and on the outside. And on all the walls all around, inside and outside, was a measured pattern.[b] 18 It was carved of (E)cherubim and (F)palm trees, a palm tree between cherub and cherub. Every cherub had two faces: 19 (G)a human face toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side. They were carved on the whole temple all around. 20 From the floor to above the door, cherubim and palm trees were carved; similarly the wall of the nave.

21 The doorposts of (H)the nave were squared, and in front of (I)the Holy Place was something resembling 22 (J)an altar of wood, three cubits high, two cubits long, and two cubits broad.[c] Its corners, its base,[d] and its walls were of wood. He said to me, “This is (K)the table that is before the Lord.” 23 The nave and the Holy Place had each (L)a double door. 24 The double doors had two leaves apiece, (M)two swinging leaves for each door. 25 And on the doors of the nave were carved cherubim and palm trees, (N)such as were carved on the walls. And there was (O)a canopy[e] of wood in front of (P)the vestibule outside. 26 And there were (Q)narrow windows and palm trees on either side, on the sidewalls of the vestibule, (R)the side chambers of the temple, and the (S)canopies.

15 Then he measured the length of the building facing the courtyard at the rear of the temple, with its galleries on either side as 175 feet.[a]

The interior of the outer sanctuary and the porch of the court,[b] 16 as well as the thresholds, narrow windows and galleries all around on three sides facing the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, from the ground up to the windows (now the windows were covered), 17 to the space above the entrance, to the inner room, and on the outside, and on all the walls in the inner room and outside, by measurement.[c] 18 It was made with cherubim and decorative palm trees, with a palm tree between each cherub. Each cherub had two faces: 19 a human face toward the palm tree on one side and a lion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side. They were carved on the whole temple all around; 20 from the ground to the area above the entrance, cherubim and decorative palm trees were carved on the wall of the outer sanctuary. 21 The doorposts of the outer sanctuary were square. In front of the sanctuary one doorpost looked just like the other. 22 The altar was of wood, 5¼ feet[d] high, with its length 3½ feet;[e] its corners, its length,[f] and its walls were of wood. He said to me, “This is the table that is before the Lord.” 23 The outer sanctuary and the inner sanctuary each had a double door. 24 Each of the doors had two leaves, two swinging[g] leaves; two leaves for one door and two leaves for the other. 25 On the doors of the outer sanctuary were carved cherubim and palm trees, like those carved on the walls, and there was a canopy[h] of wood on the front of the outside porch. 26 There were narrow windows and decorative palm trees on either side of the side walls of the porch; this is what the side chambers of the temple and the canopies were like.
