22 Then the cherubim spread[a] their wings with their wheels alongside them while the glory of the God of Israel hovered above them. 23 The glory of the Lord rose up from within the city and stopped[b] over the mountain east of it. 24 Then a wind[c] lifted me up and carried me to the exiles in Babylonia,[d] in the vision given to me by the Spirit of God.

Then the vision I had seen went up from me. 25 So I told the exiles everything[e] the Lord had shown me.

God’s Glory Leaves Jerusalem

22 Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, lifted their wings,(A) and the glory of the God of Israel was above them. 23 The glory of the Lord(B) rose up from within the city and stopped on the mountain(C) east of the city.[a](D) 24 The Spirit lifted me up(E) and brought me to Chaldea and to the exiles in a vision from the Spirit of God. After the vision I had seen left me, 25 I spoke to the exiles about all the things the Lord had shown me.
