Ezekiel 36:24-28
The Message
24-28 “‘For here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to take you out of these countries, gather you from all over, and bring you back to your own land. I’ll pour pure water over you and scrub you clean. I’ll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you. I’ll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed, not self-willed. I’ll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands. You’ll once again live in the land I gave your ancestors. You’ll be my people! I’ll be your God!

24 I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.(A) 25 I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.(B) 26 A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you, and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.(C) 27 I will put my spirit within you and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.(D) 28 Then you shall live in the land that I gave to your ancestors, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.(E)
