⁵ And whether they listen or fail to listen^(A)—for they are a rebellious people^(B)—they will know that a prophet has been among them.^(C)

¹¹ Go^(A) now to your people in exile and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says,’^(B) whether they listen or fail to listen.^(C)”

²⁷ But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’^(A) Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people.^(B)

¹² “Say to this rebellious people, ‘Do you not know what these things mean?^(A)’ Say to them: ‘The king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and carried off her king and her nobles,^(B) bringing them back with him to Babylon.^(C)
