⁵ Now there was a wall all around the outside of the temple area. The length of the measuring reed in the man’s hand was six long cubits, each being a cubit and a handbreadth in length, so he measured the thickness of the wall, one reed, and the height, one reed.

²⁰ He measured it on the four sides. It had a wall around it, five hundred cubits long and five hundred cubits wide, to make a separation between the holy and the common.^(A)

Judah’s Song of Victory

26 On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:

¹² It has a great, high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates are inscribed the names that are the names^[a] of the twelve tribes of the Israelites:^(A)
