²¹ Because you push with side and shoulder, and ^(A)thrust at all the ^(B)weak with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad,

¹⁴ But ^(A)the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus ^(B)had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, ^(C)“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” ¹⁵ Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! ^(D)Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? ¹⁶ And ought not this woman, ^(E)a daughter of Abraham whom ^(F)Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

^5 (A)Those who buy them slaughter them and go unpunished, and those who sell them say, ‘Blessed be the Lord, ^(B)I have become rich,’ and their own shepherds have no pity on them.

¹⁶ For behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd ^(A)who does not care for those being destroyed, or seek the young or heal the maimed or nourish the healthy, but ^(B)devours the flesh of the fat ones, tearing off even their hoofs.

³ I raised my eyes and saw, and behold, ^(A)a ram standing on the bank of the canal. It had two horns, and both horns were high, but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. ⁴ I saw ^(B)the ram charging westward and northward and southward. No ^(C)beast ^(D)could stand before him, ^(E)and there was no one who could rescue from his power. ^(F)He did as he pleased and ^(G)became great.

⁵ As I was considering, behold, a ^(H)male goat came from the west across the face of the whole earth, without touching the ground. And the goat had ^(I)a conspicuous horn between his eyes. ⁶ He came to ^(J)the ram with the two horns, which I had seen standing on the bank of the canal, ^(K)and he ran at him in his powerful wrath. ⁷ I saw him come close to the ram, ^(L)and he was enraged against him and struck the ram and broke his two horns. ^(M)And the ram had no power to stand before him, but he ^(N)cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. And there was no one who could rescue the ram from his power. ⁸ Then ^(O)the goat ^(P)became exceedingly great, but when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and instead of it there came up four ^(Q)conspicuous horns toward ^(R)the four winds of heaven.

⁹ Out of one of them came ^(S)a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward ^(T)the south, toward the east, and toward ^(U)the glorious land. ^10 (V)It grew great, ^(W)even to the host of heaven. And some of the host ^(X)and some^[a] of ^(Y)the stars it threw down to the ground and ^(Z)trampled on them.

^3 (A)You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, ^(B)you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. ^4 (C)The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, ^(D)the injured you have not bound up, ^(E)the strayed you have not brought back, ^(F)the lost you have not sought, and with force and ^(G)harshness you have ruled them. ^5 (H)So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd, and ^(I)they became food for all the wild beasts. My sheep were scattered;
