God Promises Deliverance

6 But the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he will send them out, and with ^(A)a strong hand he will ^(B)drive them out of his land.”

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

³ Then Moses said to the people, ^(A)“Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, ^(B)for by a strong hand the Lord brought you out from this place. ^(C)No leavened bread shall be eaten.

⁹ And it shall ^(A)be to you as a sign on your hand and as ^(B)a memorial ^(C)between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt.

^16 (A)It shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes, for ^(B)by a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”

³ They ^(A)set out from Rameses in ^(B)the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover, the people of Israel went out ^(C)triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians,

⁸ And ^(A)the Lord brought us out of Egypt ^(B)with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great deeds of terror,^[a] with signs and wonders.

^17 (A)The God of this people Israel ^(B)chose our fathers and ^(C)made the people great ^(D)during their stay in the land of Egypt, and ^(E)with uplifted arm he led them out of it.

¹⁹ But I know that the king of Egypt ^(A)will not let you go unless compelled ^(B)by a mighty hand.^[a]
