²¹ In the tent of meeting outside the veil that is in front of the testimony,^(A) Aaron and his sons are to tend the lamp^(B) from evening until morning before the Lord. This is to be a permanent statute^(C) for the Israelites throughout their generations.

²³ He also made its seven lamps, snuffers, and firepans of pure gold.

³ Aaron is to tend it continually from evening until morning before the Lord outside the veil^(A) of the testimony^(B) in the tent of meeting. This is a permanent statute throughout your generations. ⁴ He must continually tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand in the Lord’s presence.^(C)

² “Speak to Aaron and tell him: When you set up the lamps, the seven lamps are to give light in front of the lampstand.”

¹¹ They offer a burnt offering and fragrant incense to the Lord every morning and every evening,^(A) and they set the rows of the bread of the Presence on the ceremonially clean table.^(B) They light the lamps of the gold lampstand every evening. We are carrying out the requirements of Yahweh our God, while you have abandoned Him.^(C)
