^9 (A)For six days you shall labor and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it ^(B)you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your ^[a]resident who ^[b]stays with you. ^11 (C)For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

¹² “^(A)For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as the stranger residing with you, may refresh themselves.

²¹ “You shall work ^(A)six days, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during plowing time and harvest you shall rest.

² “^(A)For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, ^(B)a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord; ^(C)whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

³ ‘^(A)For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings.

¹² ‘^(A)Keep the Sabbath day to treat it as holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. ¹³ For six days you ^[a]shall labor and do all your work, ¹⁴ but ^(B)the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work that day, you or your son or your daughter, or your male slave or your female slave, or your ox, your donkey, or any of your cattle, or your ^[b]resident who ^[c]stays with you, so that your male slave and your female slave may rest as well as you.
