¹⁶ He ^(A)brought forth streams from the rock
And made waters run down like rivers.

¹⁸ I will open ^(A)rivers on the bare heights,
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make ^(B)the wilderness a pool of water,
And the dry land fountains of water.
¹⁹ I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia, the ^(C)myrtle, and the olive tree;
I will place the ^(D)juniper in the desert,
Together with the elm tree and the cypress,

¹⁰ They will ^(A)not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching ^(B)heat or sun strike them down;
For ^(C)He who has compassion on them will ^(D)lead them,
And He will guide them to ^(E)springs of water.
