28 And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.
30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come nigh him.

28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights(A) without eating bread or drinking water.(B) And he wrote on the tablets(C) the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.(D)
The Radiant Face of Moses
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai(E) with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands,(F) he was not aware that his face was radiant(G) because he had spoken with the Lord. 30 When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him.
