¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

¹¹ And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

²⁰ But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.

¹⁹ And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the Lord had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
