Exodus 34:15-16

15 lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they play the harlot after their gods, and sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee and thou eat of his sacrifice; 16 and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters play the harlot after their gods, and make thy sons play the harlot after their gods.

15 otherwise you might make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land and they would play the harlot with their gods and (A)sacrifice to their gods, and someone (B)might invite you [a]to eat of his sacrifice, 16 and (C)you might take some of his daughters for your sons, and his daughters might play the harlot with their gods and cause your sons also to play the harlot with their gods.
