¹⁹ So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that ^(A)he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

¹⁶ And ^(A)I looked, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord your God—had made for yourselves a molded calf! You had turned aside quickly from the way which the Lord had commanded you. ¹⁷ Then I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and ^(B)broke them before your eyes.

^26 (A)“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,

¹⁴ But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for ^(A)of such is the kingdom of God.

⁵ And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the ^(A)hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored ^[a]as whole as the other.

²² But I say to you that ^(A)whoever is angry with his brother ^[a]without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ^(B)‘Raca!’^[b] shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ^[c]‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of ^[d]hell fire.

¹⁴ Then I cut in two my other staff, ^[a]Bonds, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

¹⁰ And I took my staff, ^[a]Beauty, and cut it in two, that I might break the covenant which I had made with all the peoples. ¹¹ So it was broken on that day. Thus ^(A)the^[b] poor of the flock, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord.

³² not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that ^(A)I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, ^[a]though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.
