¹⁹ And as soon as he came near the camp and ^(A)saw the calf and the dancing, Moses' anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

¹⁶ And ^(A)I looked, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord your God. You had made yourselves a golden^[a] calf. ^(B)You had turned aside quickly from the way that the Lord had commanded you. ¹⁷ So I took hold of the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes.

^26 (A)Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

¹⁴ But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, ^(A)“Let the children come to me; ^(B)do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

⁵ And he ^(A)looked around at them with anger, grieved at ^(B)their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” ^(C)He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

²² But I say to you that ^(A)everyone who is angry with his brother^[a] will be liable ^(B)to judgment; whoever insults^[b] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to ^(C)the hell^[c] of fire.

¹⁴ Then I broke ^(A)my second staff Union, annulling the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

¹⁰ And I took ^(A)my staff Favor, and I broke it, annulling the covenant that I had made with all the peoples. ¹¹ So it was annulled on that day, and the sheep traders, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord.

³² not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when ^(A)I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, ^(B)though I was their husband, declares the Lord.
