¹⁶ On the first day there shall be ^(A)a holy convocation, and on the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation for you. No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat—that only may be prepared by you.

²⁵ And ^(A)on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

¹⁸ On the ^(A)first day you shall have a holy ^[a]convocation. You shall do no ^[b]customary work.

^7 (A)On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no ^[a]customary work on it. ⁸ But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.’ ”

²³ Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord has said: ‘Tomorrow is ^(A)a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.’ ”

²¹ Thus says the Lord: ^(A)“Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; ²² nor carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, nor do any work, but hallow the Sabbath day, as I ^(B)commanded your fathers.

^12 (B)‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work, and you shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days.

Offerings at the Feast of Trumpets^(A)

29 ‘And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you ^(B)it is a day of blowing the trumpets.

³⁵ On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.

^27 (A)“Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.
