¹⁶ On the first day you shall hold a ^(A)holy assembly, and on the seventh day a holy assembly. No work shall be done on those days. But what everyone needs to eat, that alone may be prepared by you.

^18 (A)On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work,

^7 (A)On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. ⁸ But you shall present a food offering to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.”

²⁵ And ^(A)on the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work.

²³ he said to them, “This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Tomorrow is a day of ^(A)solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord; bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over lay aside to be kept till the morning.’”

²¹ Thus says the Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and ^(A)do not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem. ²² And do not carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath ^(B)or do any work, but ^(C)keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers.

^12 (A)“On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, and you shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days.

Offerings for the Feast of Trumpets

29 “On the first day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. ^(A)It is a day for you to blow the trumpets,

³⁵ On the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.

²⁷ “Now ^(A)on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It shall be for you a time of holy convocation, and you shall afflict yourselves^[a] and present a food offering to the Lord.
