Eseciel 28 Beibl William Morgan (BWM)

28 Daeth gair yr Arglwydd ataf drachefn, gan ddywedyd, Ha fab dyn, dywed wrth dywysog Tyrus, Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw; Am falchïo dy galon, a dywedyd ohonot, Duw ydwyf fi, eistedd yr ydwyf yn eisteddfa Duw yng nghanol y moroedd; a thi yn ddyn, ac nid yn Dduw, er gosod ohonot dy galon fel calon Duw: Wele di yn ddoethach na Daniel; ni chuddir dim dirgelwch oddi wrthyt: Trwy dy ddoethineb a’th ddeallgarwch y cefaist gyfoeth i ti, ie, y cefaist aur ac arian i’th drysorau: Trwy dy fawr ddoethineb ac wrth dy farchnadaeth yr amlheaist dy gyfoeth, a’th galon a falchïodd oherwydd dy gyfoeth: Am hynny fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw; Am osod ohonot dy galon fel calon Duw, Oherwydd hynny wele fi yn dwyn i’th erbyn ddieithriaid, y trawsaf o’r cenhedloedd; a thynnant eu cleddyfau ar degwch dy ddoethineb, a halogant dy loywder. Disgynnant di i’r ffos, a byddi farw o farwolaeth yr archolledig yng nghanol y môr. Gan ddywedyd a ddywedi di o flaen dy leiddiad, Duw ydwyf fi? a thi a fyddi yn ddyn, ac nid yn Dduw, yn llaw dy leiddiad. 10 Byddi farw o farwolaeth y dienwaededig, trwy law dieithriaid: canys myfi a’i dywedais, medd yr Arglwydd Dduw.

11 Gair yr Arglwydd a ddaeth ataf drachefn, gan ddywedyd, 12 Cyfod, fab dyn, alarnad am frenin Tyrus, a dywed wrtho, Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw; Ti seliwr nifer, llawn o ddoethineb, a chyflawn o degwch, 13 Ti a fuost yn Eden, gardd Duw: pob maen gwerthfawr a’th orchuddiai, sardius, topas, ac adamant, beryl, onics, a iasbis, saffir, rubi, a smaragdus, ac aur: gwaith dy dympanau a’th bibellau a baratowyd ynot ar y dydd y’th grewyd. 14 Ceriwb eneiniog ydwyt yn gorchuddio; ac felly y’th roddaswn; oeddit ar sanctaidd fynydd Duw: ymrodiaist yng nghanol y cerrig tanllyd. 15 Perffaith oeddit ti yn dy ffyrdd er y dydd y’th grewyd, hyd oni chaed ynot anwiredd. 16 Yn amlder dy farchnadaeth y llanwasant dy ganol â thrais, a thi a bechaist: am hynny y’th halogaf allan o fynydd Duw, ac y’th ddifethaf di, geriwb yn gorchuddio, o ganol y cerrig tanllyd. 17 Balchïodd dy galon yn dy degwch, llygraist dy ddoethineb oherwydd dy loywder: bwriaf di i’r llawr; o flaen brenhinoedd y’th osodaf, fel yr edrychont arnat. 18 Trwy amlder dy anwiredd, ag anwiredd dy farchnadaeth, yr halogaist dy gysegroedd: am hynny y dygaf dân allan o’th ganol, hwnnw a’th ysa; a gwnaf di yn lludw ar y ddaear yng ngolwg pawb a’th welant. 19 Y rhai a’th adwaenant oll ymysg y bobloedd, a synnant o’th achos: dychryn fyddi, ac ni byddi byth.

20 Yna gair yr Arglwydd a ddaeth ataf, gan ddywedyd, 21 Gosod, fab dyn, dy wyneb yn erbyn Sidon, a phroffwyda yn ei herbyn hi, 22 A dywed, Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw; Wele fi i’th erbyn, Sidon; fel y’m gogonedder yn dy ganol, ac y gwypont mai myfi yw yr Arglwydd, pan wnelwyf ynddi farnedigaethau, ac y’m sancteiddier ynddi. 23 Canys anfonaf iddi haint, a gwaed i’w heolydd; a bernir yr archolledig o’i mewn â’r cleddyf, yr hwn fydd arni oddi amgylch; a chânt wybod mai myfi yw yr Arglwydd.

24 Ac ni bydd mwy i dŷ Israel, o’r holl rai o’u hamgylch a’r a’u dirmygasant, ysbyddaden bigog, na draenen ofidus; a chânt wybod mai myfi yw yr Arglwydd Dduw. 25 Fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd Dduw; Pan gasglwyf dŷ Israel o fysg y bobloedd y rhai y gwasgarwyd hwy yn eu plith, ac yr ymsancteiddiwyf ynddynt yng ngolwg y cenhedloedd; yna y trigant yn eu gwlad a roddais i’m gwas Jacob. 26 Ie, trigant ynddi yn ddiogel, ac adeiladant dai, a phlannant winllannoedd; a phreswyliant mewn diogelwch, pan wnelwyf farnedigaethau â’r rhai oll a’u dirmygant hwy o’u hamgylch; fel y gwypont mai myfi yw yr Arglwydd eu Duw.

Ezekiel 28 New International Version (NIV)

A Prophecy Against the King of Tyre

28 The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘In the pride of your heart
    you say, “I am a god;
I sit on the throne of a god
    in the heart of the seas.”
But you are a mere mortal and not a god,
    though you think you are as wise as a god.
Are you wiser than Daniel[a]?
    Is no secret hidden from you?
By your wisdom and understanding
    you have gained wealth for yourself
and amassed gold and silver
    in your treasuries.
By your great skill in trading
    you have increased your wealth,
and because of your wealth
    your heart has grown proud.

“‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘Because you think you are wise,
    as wise as a god,
I am going to bring foreigners against you,
    the most ruthless of nations;
they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom
    and pierce your shining splendor.
They will bring you down to the pit,
    and you will die a violent death
    in the heart of the seas.
Will you then say, “I am a god,”
    in the presence of those who kill you?
You will be but a mortal, not a god,
    in the hands of those who slay you.
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised
    at the hands of foreigners.

I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

11 The word of the Lord came to me: 12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘You were the seal of perfection,
    full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
    the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
    carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
    topaz, onyx and jasper,
    lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.[b]
Your settings and mountings[c] were made of gold;
    on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
    for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
    you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
    from the day you were created
    till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
    you were filled with violence,
    and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
    and I expelled you, guardian cherub,
    from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud
    on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
    because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
    I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
    you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
    and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
    in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you
    are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
    and will be no more.’”

A Prophecy Against Sidon

20 The word of the Lord came to me: 21 “Son of man, set your face against Sidon; prophesy against her 22 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘I am against you, Sidon,
    and among you I will display my glory.
You will know that I am the Lord,
    when I inflict punishment on you
    and within you am proved to be holy.
23 I will send a plague upon you
    and make blood flow in your streets.
The slain will fall within you,
    with the sword against you on every side.
Then you will know that I am the Lord.

24 “‘No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns. Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.

25 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will be proved holy through them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob. 26 They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.’”
