²⁴Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands ^(A)in everything.

²⁴Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands^(A) in everything.

³³Nevertheless ^(A)let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she ^(B)respects her husband.
