Ephesians 5:13-15

New International Version

¹³But everything exposed by the light^(A) becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. ¹⁴This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,^(B)
rise from the dead,^(C)
and Christ will shine on you.”^(D)

¹⁵Be very careful, then, how you live^(E)—not as unwise but as wise,

¹³But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

¹⁴Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

¹⁵See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

¹³But ^(A)all things that are ^[a]exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. ¹⁴Therefore He says:
