Ephesians 2:15-17 Jubilee Bible 2000 (JUB)

15 abolishing in his flesh the enmity, which was the law of commandments in the order of rites, to edify in himself the two in one new man, making peace,

16 and to reconcile both with God by the cross[a] in one body, having slain the enmity thereby;

17 and he came and preached peace unto you who were afar off and to those that were near.

Ephesians 2:15-17 New International Version (NIV)

15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
