¹³ Therefore ^(A)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(B)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

⁴ For the ^(A)weapons of ^(B)our warfare are not of the flesh but have ^(C)divine power ^(D)to destroy strongholds.

^11 (A)Put on ^(B)the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against ^(C)the schemes of the devil. ¹² For ^(D)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(E)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(F)the cosmic powers over ^(G)this present darkness, against ^(H)the spiritual forces of evil ^(I)in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore ^(J)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(K)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, ^(L)having fastened on the belt of truth, and ^(M)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, ^(N)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances take up ^(O)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all ^(P)the flaming darts of ^(Q)the evil one; ¹⁷ and take ^(R)the helmet of salvation, and ^(S)the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

³⁶ But ^(A)stay awake at all times, ^(B)praying that you may ^(C)have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and ^(D)to stand before the Son of Man.”

^16 (A)making the best use of the time, because ^(B)the days are evil.

² But ^(A)who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For ^(B)he is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap.

Remember Your Creator in Your Youth

12 Remember also your Creator in ^(A)the days of your youth, before ^(B)the evil days come and the years draw near of which ^(C)you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;

^10 (A)Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try ^(B)those who dwell on the earth.

^6 (A)Let no one ^(B)deceive you with empty words, for because of these things ^(C)the wrath of God comes upon ^(D)the sons of disobedience.
