²⁴ and to put on ^(A)the new self, ^(B)created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

¹⁰ For ^(A)we are his workmanship, ^(B)created in Christ Jesus ^(C)for good works, ^(D)which God prepared beforehand, ^(E)that we should walk in them.

¹⁰ and ^(A)have put on ^(B)the new self, ^(C)which is being renewed in knowledge ^(D)after the image of ^(E)its creator. ^11 (F)Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave,^[a] free; but Christ is ^(G)all, and in all.

^12 (H)Put on then, as ^(I)God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, ^(J)compassionate hearts, ^(K)kindness, ^(L)humility, meekness, and patience, ^13 (M)bearing with one another and, ^(N)if one has a complaint against another, ^(O)forgiving each other; ^(P)as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. ¹⁴ And above all these put on ^(Q)love, which ^(R)binds everything together in ^(S)perfect harmony.

^11 (A)Put on ^(B)the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against ^(C)the schemes of the devil.

¹⁴ But ^(A)put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, ^(B)to gratify its desires.

⁴ We were ^(A)buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as ^(B)Christ was raised from the dead by ^(C)the glory of the Father, we too might walk in ^(D)newness of life.

¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is ^(A)in Christ, he is ^(B)a new creation.^{[a] (C)}The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

² Beloved, we are ^(A)God's children ^(B)now, and what we will be ^(C)has not yet appeared; but we know that ^(D)when he appears^{[a] (E)}we shall be like him, because ^(F)we shall see him as he is. ³ And everyone who ^(G)thus hopes in him ^(H)purifies himself as he is pure.

¹⁸ And we all, with unveiled face, ^(A)beholding ^(B)the glory of the Lord,^{[a] (C)}are being transformed into the same image ^(D)from one degree of glory to another.^[b] For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
