Unity of the Spirit

4 Therefore I, ^(A)the prisoner of the Lord, ^(B)urge you to ^(C)walk in a manner worthy of the ^(D)calling with which you have been ^(E)called,

¹⁵ So then, ^[a]be careful how you ^(A)walk, not ^(B)as unwise people but as wise, ^16 [b](C)making the most of your time, because ^(D)the days are evil. ¹⁷ Therefore do not be foolish, but ^(E)understand what the will of the Lord is.

¹⁰ so that you will ^(A)walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, ^[a](B)to please Him in all respects, ^(C)bearing fruit in every good work and ^[b]increasing in the ^[c]knowledge of God;

¹² so that you would ^(A)walk in a manner worthy of the God who ^(B)calls you into His own kingdom and ^(C)glory.

Christ Is Our Example

²¹ For ^(A)you have been called for this purpose, ^(B)because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you ^(C)an example, so that you would follow in His steps,

⁶ the one who says that he ^(A)remains in Him ^(B)ought, himself also, walk just as He walked.

¹⁷ Only, ^(A)as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this way let him walk. And ^(B)so I direct in ^(C)all the churches.
