⁷ in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace,^(A) expressed in his kindness^(B) to us in Christ Jesus.

⁴ But when the kindness^(A) and love of God our Savior^(B) appeared,^(C)

¹⁶ But for that very reason I was shown mercy^(A) so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience^(B) as an example for those who would believe^(C) in him and receive eternal life.^{(D) 17} Now to the King^(E) eternal, immortal,^(F) invisible,^(G) the only God,^(H) be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.^(I)

¹² We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,^(A) and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.^[a]

⁴ But because of his great love for us,^(A) God, who is rich in mercy,

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying:^(A)

¹¹ Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand.^(H) They encircled the throne and the living creatures^(I) and the elders.^{(J) 12} In a loud voice they were saying:

¹³ Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth^(N) and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

¹⁴ The four living creatures^(R) said, “Amen,”^(S) and the elders^(T) fell down and worshiped.^(U)

⁵ which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.^(A)
