²¹ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.^(A)

¹⁰ and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.^(A)

²² who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him.^(A)

The Supremacy of Christ

¹⁵ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation,^{(A) 16} for in^[a] him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers—all things have been created through him and for him.

⁴ having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.^(A)

¹⁵ He disarmed^[a] the rulers and authorities and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it.^(A)

¹² “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.”^(A)

¹⁰ And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The Dead Are Judged

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and the one who sat on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his^[a] presence, and no place was found for them.^{(A) 12} And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, the book of life. And the dead were judged according to their works, as recorded in the books.^{(B) 13} And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and all were judged according to what they had done.^{(C) 14} Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire,^{(D) 15} and anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
