²⁰ he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead^(A) and seated him at his right hand^(B) in the heavenly realms,^(C)

¹² But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins,^(A) he sat down at the right hand of God,^(B)

¹⁹ After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven^(A) and he sat at the right hand of God.^(B)

Of David. A psalm.

³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory^(A) and the exact representation of his being,^(B) sustaining all things^(C) by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins,^(D) he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.^(E)

¹⁰ I want to know^(A) Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings,^(B) becoming like him in his death,^(C)

²⁴ But God raised him from the dead,^(A) freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.^{(B) 25} David said about him:

²⁹ “Fellow Israelites,^(E) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch^(F) David died and was buried,^(G) and his tomb is here^(H) to this day. ³⁰ But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.^{(I) 31} Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.^{(J) 32} God has raised this Jesus to life,^(K) and we are all witnesses^(L) of it. ³³ Exalted^(M) to the right hand of God,^(N) he has received from the Father^(O) the promised Holy Spirit^(P) and has poured out^(Q) what you now see and hear. ³⁴ For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

³⁶ “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord^(S) and Messiah.”^(T)

Jesus Prays to Be Glorified

17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven^(A) and prayed:
