¹⁷ that ^(A)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(B)may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

¹⁷ But ^(A)the wisdom from above is first pure, then ^(B)peaceable, gentle, open to reason, ^(C)full of mercy and good fruits, ^(D)impartial and ^(E)sincere. ¹⁸ And ^(F)a harvest of righteousness ^(G)is sown in peace by those who make peace.

⁹ And so, ^(A)from the day we heard, ^(B)we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that ^(C)you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all ^(D)spiritual wisdom and understanding, ¹⁰ so as ^(E)to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, ^(F)fully pleasing to him: ^(G)bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Confirm Your Calling and Election

³ His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him ^(A)who called us to^[a] his own glory and excellence,^[b]

¹⁸ may have strength to ^(A)comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and ^(B)height and depth, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ ^(C)that surpasses knowledge, that ^(D)you may be filled with all ^(E)the fullness of God.

¹⁸ But ^(A)grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ^(B)To him be the glory both now and to the day of ^(C)eternity. Amen.

^3 (A)And this is eternal life, ^(B)that they know you, ^(C)the only ^(D)true God, and ^(E)Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
