18 Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,(A) 19 as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to one another, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts,(B) 20 giving thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,(C) 21 being subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Instead, be filled with the Spirit,(B) 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.(C) Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks(D) to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
