²⁴And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

²⁴and to put on^(A) the new self,^(B) created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.^(C)

²⁵Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

²⁵Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully^(A) to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.^(B)

⁹Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

⁹Do not lie to each other,^(A) since you have taken off your old self^(B) with its practices
