¹³ But it will ^(A)not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like ^(B)a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

¹² For who knows what is good for man while he lives the few days of his ^(A)vain^[a] life, which he passes like ^(B)a shadow? For who can tell man what will be ^(C)after him under the sun?

¹⁸ Then once more you shall ^(A)see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

³ And ^(A)in their greed they will exploit you ^(B)with false words. ^(C)Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

¹⁴ yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For ^(A)you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

²⁹ and come out, ^(A)those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

⁴⁹ So it will be at ^(A)the end of the age. The angels will come out and ^(B)separate the evil from the righteous ^50 (C)and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place ^(D)there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
