¹⁴ You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young.^(A)

¹¹ The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock^(A) and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.^(B)

⁹ “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers,^(A) and I will keep my covenant^(B) with you.

²⁶ and none will miscarry or be barren^(A) in your land. I will give you a full life span.^(B)

²⁷ “I will send my terror^(C) ahead of you and throw into confusion^(D) every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.^{(E) 28} I will send the hornet^(F) ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites^(G) out of your way. ²⁹ But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals^(H) too numerous for you. ³⁰ Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession^(I) of the land.

³¹ “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea^[a] to the Mediterranean Sea,^[b] and from the desert to the Euphrates River.^(J) I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out^(K) before you. ³² Do not make a covenant^(L) with them or with their gods. ³³ Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare^(M) to you.”
