²⁷ For I know how rebellious and ^(A)stubborn you are. Behold, even today while I am yet alive with you, ^(B)you have been rebellious against the Lord. How much more after my death!

^24 (A)You have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you.

^51 (A)“You stiff-necked people, ^(B)uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. ^(C)As your fathers did, so do you.

^8 (A)Do not now be stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the Lord and come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever, and serve the Lord your God, ^(B)that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

⁶ “Know, therefore, that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are ^(A)a stubborn people. ⁷ Remember and do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness. ^(B)From the day you came out of the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.

⁸ They have turned aside quickly out of the way that ^(A)I commanded them. They have made for themselves a golden calf and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it and said, ‘These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!’” ⁹ And the Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, ^(B)it is a stiff-necked people.
