Deuteronomy 3:8
New International Version
8 So at that time we took from these two kings of the Amorites(A) the territory east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge as far as Mount Hermon.(B)
Joshua 13:9-12

9 It extended from Aroer(A) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the middle of the gorge, and included the whole plateau(B) of Medeba as far as Dibon,(C) 10 and all the towns of Sihon king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon,(D) out to the border of the Ammonites.(E) 11 It also included Gilead,(F) the territory of the people of Geshur and Maakah, all of Mount Hermon and all Bashan as far as Salekah(G)— 12 that is, the whole kingdom of Og in Bashan,(H) who had reigned in Ashtaroth(I) and Edrei.(J) (He was the last of the Rephaites.(K)) Moses had defeated them and taken over their land.(L)

2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.(A)
He ruled from Aroer(B) on the rim of the Arnon Gorge—from the middle of the gorge—to the Jabbok River,(C) which is the border of the Ammonites.(D) This included half of Gilead.(E) 3 He also ruled over the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Galilee[a](F) to the Sea of the Arabah (that is, the Dead Sea(G)), to Beth Jeshimoth,(H) and then southward below the slopes of Pisgah.(I)
4 And the territory of Og king of Bashan,(J) one of the last of the Rephaites,(K) who reigned in Ashtaroth(L) and Edrei.
5 He ruled over Mount Hermon, Salekah,(M) all of Bashan(N) to the border of the people of Geshur(O) and Maakah,(P) and half of Gilead(Q) to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6 Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites conquered them.(R) And Moses the servant of the Lord gave their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh to be their possession.(S)

33 Then Moses gave to the Gadites,(A) the Reubenites and the half-tribe of Manasseh(B) son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites(C) and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan(D)—the whole land with its cities and the territory around them.(E)
34 The Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,(F) 35 Atroth Shophan, Jazer,(G) Jogbehah,(H) 36 Beth Nimrah(I) and Beth Haran as fortified cities, and built pens for their flocks.(J) 37 And the Reubenites rebuilt Heshbon,(K) Elealeh(L) and Kiriathaim,(M) 38 as well as Nebo(N) and Baal Meon (these names were changed) and Sibmah.(O) They gave names to the cities they rebuilt.
39 The descendants of Makir(P) son of Manasseh went to Gilead,(Q) captured it and drove out the Amorites(R) who were there. 40 So Moses gave Gilead to the Makirites,(S) the descendants of Manasseh, and they settled there. 41 Jair,(T) a descendant of Manasseh, captured their settlements and called them Havvoth Jair.[a](U) 42 And Nobah captured Kenath(V) and its surrounding settlements and called it Nobah(W) after himself.(X)
