Defeat of Og King of Bashan

3 Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan, and Og king of Bashan^(A) with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei.^(B)

⁷ When you reached this place, Sihon^(A) king of Heshbon^(B) and Og king of Bashan came out to fight against us, but we defeated them.^(C)

⁴ This was after he had defeated Sihon^(A) king of the Amorites,^(B) who reigned in Heshbon,^(C) and at Edrei had defeated Og^(D) king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.^(E)

³³ Then they turned and went up along the road toward Bashan^(A),^(B) and Og king of Bashan and his whole army marched out to meet them in battle at Edrei.^(C)

³⁴ The Lord said to Moses, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have delivered him into your hands, along with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon.^(D)”

³⁵ So they struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army, leaving them no survivors.^(E) And they took possession of his land.^(F)
