⁶⁴ The Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.^(A)

²⁷ The Lord will scatter you among the peoples; only a few of you will be left among the nations where the Lord will lead you.^{(A) 28} There you will serve gods made by human hands, objects of wood and stone that neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.^(B)

³³ And you I will scatter among the nations, and I will unsheathe the sword against you; your land shall be a desolation and your cities a waste.^(A)

¹³ Therefore I will hurl you out of this land into a land that neither you nor your ancestors have known, and there you shall serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.^(A)

⁸ Remember the word that you commanded Moses your servant, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples,^(A)

³⁶ The Lord will bring you and the king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you nor your ancestors have known, where you shall serve other gods, of wood and stone.^(A)

²⁴ they will fall by the edge of the sword and be taken away as captives among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the times of the nations are fulfilled.^(A)

¹⁷ Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured it, and now at the end King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon has gnawed its bones.^(A)

¹⁶ Therefore say: Thus says the Lord God: Though I removed them far away among the nations and though I scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary to them for a little while^[a] in the countries where they have gone.^{(A) 17} Therefore say: Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.^(B)
